Encouraging Growth & Changing Stories

Mineral Area Homeschool Community

During Fall 2023, we are meeting in local parks. To join us, click the button below so we can plan accurately.

We Make Homeschool Simple...And Keep it Weird.

We’re here for the homeschooling (or aspiring homeschooling) families in the Mineral Area. Our goal is to provide a weekly co-op as well as a number of activities each semester that are open to all homeschool families, regardless of co-op membership. From park days to field trips to open gyms and sports, we create opportunities for homeschoolers to gather together for socialization, supplemental learning, and fun!

What is Our Promise to You?

We value uplifting your family and encouraging your homeschooling journey. We will always strive to create community, instill independence, and sow success into your children (and into you).

Our co-op is volunteer-operated. That means parents are expected to stay on-site during co-op sessions. We offer many volunteer opportunities (even non-teaching ones!), PLUS we have a cafe area where you can enjoy time with other adults (gasp!) while your kids are enjoying & experiencing co-op.

Creating Community

Here, we keep homeschool weird. MAHC understands that you need a place to connect with others, and that's exactly why we do what we do. We provide a community where your kids can practice social skills, experience community participation, and enhance social growth.

Instilling Independence

While community is an important part of a healthy upbringing, being comfortable and confident in your own skin is just as crucial. That's why instilling independence and fostering strong self-esteem is one of our core values at MAHC. We help build a beautiful internal story in your children that no one can tear away from them.

Sowing Success

We believe that raising kids who are ready to leave the nest is a sacred parenting responsibility. MAHC works alongside you to help ingrain the principles of success into your kids. We help you nudge them out of their comfort zone and look for growth opportunities... Important lessons that they'll remember forever!

About MAHC

The Mineral Area Homeschool Community Co-op is at the heart of our organization. MAHC Co-op provides an opportunity for homeschooling families to come together weekly to learn, play, and grow together through group classes. Our Fall Session runs from September to December, and our Spring Session runs from February to May.

Due to some changes in our venue, the MAHC Co-op will look slightly different this semester. We will be meeting for park meet-ups and special gatherings throughout the semester. Check our Facebook group for more info on meet-up details. Thanks & see you soon!
