Things Look a Little Different Around Here Now

If you’ve been around for a while, you might notice that things are looking a little different here in our little corner of the internet. We’ve launched this new website with a streamlined registration process, and we’re creating an online home for ourselves where we can build community in the digital space (because we understand that not everyone wants to be on social media).

This means a couple of things for you as a user.

1. If you are a returning user, your previous username and password no longer exists. We’ve started completely from scratch, so that means that if you had a user login prior to June 2022, you will now need to create a new login (this will be available only to approved and active co-op members).

2. You will want to continue to check in regularly to watch things grow!

3. You can stay connected and be alerted to new additions by signing up for our Mineral Area Homeschool Community Newsletter below. 🙂

What We're Bringing to the Mineral Area Homeschool Community

With all the changes, some of the cool things you’ll notice on the site now are:

–The MAHC Blog

The blog features some really great topics including: Co-op News, & more! We will also be accepting blog posts from community members as well. (Note that blog posts migrated from the old site are listed as written by the editor at the moment. The original authors are still listed in the posts, but with the new website doesn’t have a profile for these authors yet.)

–A Member Forum

We know that blogs are awesome, but we also know that not every question requires a blog post-length answer… That’s why we want to feature a member forum! It will be a place where you can come ask your trusted MAHC friends questions and get helpful answers. Of course you can do this in our Facebook group here, but we know that so many of our members don’t like being on social media. So think of this as Reddit for homeschool families.

–Other Amaaaazing Stuff

Yeah, we’ve got some other stuff up our sleeves too. Do you have an idea for our website or our community? We’d love to hear from you. CLICK HERE and fill out our contact form to share your thoughts with us. Just make sure to click the “suggestions” option so it gets to the editor. You can also leave a comment below on this post and let us know what you’d like to see in the future.

You’re awesome, don’t forget that.
